A lack of mycelial growth can be due to:
Too high temperatures - Incubating your kit near a direct heat source such as a radiator, propagation mat, hot pipes or a boiler can often cause this. Make sure your kit is incubating in a location with
consistent temperatures and away from concentrated heat sources.
Too low temperatures - If the incubation location is too cold, the Mycelium may struggle to colonise the substrate, making the growth process longer. Move your kit to a warmer location and monitor any
changes in development.
Waterlogged substrate – Substrate that is too wet restricts the development of Mycelium, the straw should be moist but not sodden. If your kit is in the fruiting stage, refrain from spraying for a few days and monitor changes any in development.
