When is the best time to start my kit?

If you have a ready to fruit kit, or a kit that comes with the spawn included please use it as soon as possible to ensure the fungus is productive and of high quality. 

Our mushroom grow kits (not including log kits) are designed for indoor use, so the best time to start it is when you're able to provide the right conditions for it in your home. For example, if you've been given a Pink Oyster mushroom grow kit (gift option) for Christmas, but your house is only 17°C at that time of year, then we highly recommend waiting to redeem your voucher until the summer months when the ambient temperature of your home is much more preferable for that species.
